Agata is a passionate singer and performer seeking to expand her presence in the hospitality and events scene. Her music & stories about her songs create an uplifting and memorable atmosphere, inspire deep contemplation & self-reflection. 

On the 3rd November 2024 Agata hosted her first concert and performed in front of about 100 guests (see the photo gallery below, explore her Instagram highlights "CONCERT 1 & 2" for more impressions). Agata is planning to perform with this programme, plus she can incorporate some other jazzy songs if desired.

Artist Manager Job Description

Performance Booking & Artist Relations Manager (Part-Time/Freelance)

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Venue Outreach & Booking:

  • Identify and contact suitable venues (restaurants, hotels, event planners) to schedule live performances.  

  • Negotiate performance fees, dates, and terms, ensuring the artist’s best interests.

   

2. Calendar Management:

  • Maintain a clear, updated booking calendar.  

  • Coordinate with the artist to confirm availability and handle any changes or cancellations promptly.

   

3. Contracting & Logistics:

  • Draft or review simple performance agreements.  

  • Confirm logistical details such as set times, technical requirements, and payment arrangements.

   

4. Relationship Building:

  • Develop positive, long-term relationships with venue managers, event planners, and agents.  

  • Explore opportunities for repeat bookings, seasonal residencies, or special events.

   

5. Reporting & Communication:

  • Provide regular updates on outreach progress, confirmed bookings, and feedback from venues.  

  • Work closely with the artist to refine strategies, pricing, and performance offerings over time.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in booking performances, events, or talent management (luxury hospitality experience a plus).  

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills (in both English and German strongly preferred, given Zurich’s market).  

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.  

  • Existing network in Zurich’s hospitality or events scene is highly desirable.

 

Compensation:

  • First 5 confirmed & fulfilled bookings: commission

  • After 5 confirmed & fulfilled bookings: base retainer fee plus commission per confirmed & fulfilled booking.

  • Flexible schedule with the expectation of regular updates and responsiveness.
